I thought it would be interesting to track behind the scenes of the Working Title Films project.

This is the concrete manufacturer in Essex that made our 3m cast concrete reception desk. It weighs 600 kg! The guys at the workshop were slightly less impressed by my visit than when Rudolf Nureyev swept into the factory swathed in fur…. I can’t imagine what he was doing there.

Hoxton Grill

The Soho House Group have just taken charge of the Hoxton Grill.  Leather chairs, bespoke Suzy Hoodless designed sofas, tables and lighting have transformed this space into a modern diner.  With a lead time of 5 weeks from start to finish, this was a slickly run project spearheaded by Nick Jones.

I spent the summer in Tangier at my friend Jacquetta Wheeler’s house, latest Gucci model and general all round superstar.

As well as lots of dancing, laughing with our German friends and incredible hospitality headed by the famous Abdul Latif, I bought an 18th century provision bag from Bazaar Tindouf and an embroidered rug from Boutique Majid, www.boutiquemajid.com.
