Suzy’s career commenced in 1992 at Designers Guild, working as assistant to the creative team under the watchful eye of Tricia Guild. She then went on to work with House & Garden magazine for another of her mentors, Sue Crewe.

In 1996, Suzy joined the existing team of four, pre launch, setting up the interiors at Wallpaper* magazine. At Wallpaper* Suzy travelled globally to research the market, discovering new designers, trends and stories, as well as art directing photo shoots. Special projects at Wallpaper* included designing the Wallpaper* house built in Milan during the Salone de Mobile in 1998 as well as working on the design of the Wallpaper* offices in London. Other special projects included art directing the windows for the fashion house Club Monaco on 5th Avenue in New York.
